Marleigh A. Moscatel, MD knew she wanted to be a doctor since she was a child. This desire to help others began at a very young age, and combined with a strong interest in health and wellness, this led to the pursuit of a career in medicine. She graduated with highest honors from UCLA and the Chicago Medical School. After completing her residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at William Beaumont Hospital, she worked for the next 7 years in various private pediatric practices, while maintaining admitting privileges at several affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Moscatel is board-certified in Pediatric Medicine, and continues to expand her medical education, although she is no longer in clinical practice. She has devoted her time to raising a family, and believes it is the most important work she has ever done. During her time away from active practice, she has worked as a medical consultant for various entities, and is the Vice-President of a medical consulting corporation that she began with her husband.
She has been happily married to her best friend for more than 20 years, and has two teenage sons, with whom she enjoys a rich family life of togetherness and laughter. Her interests and hobbies include music and singing, reading, travel, cooking, yoga, tennis, and skiing. She is also fluent in Spanish and French.
